A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
One town. One gate. You don't win, you find out how long you last.
Every few days someone knocks. You get almost nothing to go on: a face, one line, a claimed skill. Let them in. Turn them away. Rob them. Lock them up. Or worse. Then keep everyone you let in alive while it gets worse.
The gate is the game. Refugees, drifters, bandit crews, traders, hired guns: every arrival is a decision, and the town remembers what you chose.
Hold the wall. When the dead come, your people fight a real battle in real time. Slow time down, give orders to the ones loyal enough to follow them, and watch the rest fight how they fight. If the wall falls, fall back to the hall and make a last stand.
Raid for what you need. Send a party into the ruins room by room. Push deeper for better loot, or pull out while everyone's still breathing.
They're people, not units. Survivors talk, fall out, become friends, fall in love and marry. Children are born behind the wall. When someone dies, the people closest to them grieve, and it shows.
Run the town. Assign jobs, set the laws, keep morale up, keep the food coming. Push people too hard and the town might turn on you.
Low-poly, PS1-style, and not interested in being fair.
Windows & Mac. Since this is a small indie game, your computer may ask you to confirm the first launch. Install steps are on the download page.

Congrats on launching the itch.io page!!! 🎉
Readers, I got the chance to talk with the dev of this game, and let me tell you, I have no doubt this is an awesome experience, even in its early 0.2.0 release.
Can't wait for my schedule to free up so I can buy this absolute charm of a game. The aesthetic perfectly captures the kind of games I love!
Wishing this title many, many updates :D
